IoTLink addresses connectivity with a switch-beam array — an aperture that selects among a set of fixed beams to cover a service area. Switch-beam architectures trade the continuous steering of a full phased array for lower cost and complexity, a favourable balance for many IoT and access scenarios.
As prime contractor to the European Space Agency, Antecnica owns the architecture, design and validation of the deliverable, including the antenna and beam-selection design.
